My First Post!

Hey everyone! It's Liz and this is my first post. So as you know we just got the YouTube channel up and we will soon be putting videos up which is very exciting and I cannot wait! Well, one of my friends is coming from St. Louis on Wednesday and I think she has American Girl Dolls! She is really nice so maybe she will let us use her dolls for our videos. You already know what dolls I have and they are all doing really well. Rebecca's hair is getting frizzy and the curls are coming out. Elizabeth and Felicity's heads are loose and their hair is extremely frizzy, I was thinking about sending them to the doll hospital, but I just don't have the money right now. Well, thanks for reading my really long post and there will be more to come!

New Youtube!

Here is the link to our youtube account. I will try to upload some things later.

Pictures of everything I got at Kansas City! Part 1

This post is a little late, because I went to the store on July 11. But anyways, here are all the things that I got!

Here is Kelsey modeling the retired 2-in-1 Ballet Outfit, which I got for $16.

Kelsey's newly pierced ears and the pink studs from the Birthstone Earrings.
 More earrings!
McKenna's gymnastics bag from her accessories.
 McKenna's letter and book report.
Book report close up. I think it's funny how it says "Made in China" in big letters across the bottom.
 Some yummy trail mix! :)
McKenna's water bottle. It says GYMNASTICS in white letters on it.

 Fake money!
 McKenna's ID card.
 Fantastic Gymnastics Book.

You can actually read it, and I don't think it's abridged either.
 McKenna's journal.
One of the poems inside. The thing I like is that they're actually from the story!
 McKenna's meet shirt.
 Leggings without flash-
-and with flash. This picture is closest to their color.
 Gymastics t-shirt.
 Blue shorts without flash.
 And with flash.
Hairstyle card.

Part 2 is coming soon!

New Dolls!

Okay, don't panic from the title. There aren't currently any NEW dolls (besides McKenna) at my house, but there will be at least one in August!

Guess which doll it is............

MARISOL LUNA! I got her and a few other things off eBay, but the seller is on vacation and so I won't get her until August.

Also, I'm currently trying to save up for Ivy, her accessories, and McKenna's Beam and Bar.

I'm also working on a new header and it should be up soon.

Custom Caroline!

This is what I think American Girl's new historical, Caroline Abbott, will look like. I edited this on Picmonkey, starting off with MY AG #23. I turned her eyes grey and gave her a coating of blush and coral lips. Then I used Nip Tuck to create a unique face mold, with Marie-Grace's chin and higher eyebrows. I tinted her hair red with slight sandy highlights. Then I gave her a light coat of spray tan to represent her being outside a lot, which I think she will be. Then I painted her dress on.

Hope you enjoy!

Custom Doll Edit

Here is a custom doll edit I did for Awtumn on the AG Fans Message Board. Check out my thread if you want me to make you a custom doll: Custom Doll Edits.

I started off with MY AG #24, blonde wavy hair, freckles, and brown eyes. I turned the eyes grey on Picmonkey.

Up next in my doll editing adventures: what I think Caroline will look like!

The Post of Random Pictures! :)

This has nothing to do with AG, but I guess that's why the blog is called BEAM Designs & MORE...

 So enjoy random pictures!

 ^My brother's old cat, Twilight.
My adorable cat, Kaylie, asleep in a flowerbed thingy.
My dad's old cat, Mel, showing off his mustache.
My KayKay obviously got offended by his little brother, Twi.

A pig that I had last year, Snickerdoodle.

Now onto a crazy story!

All three cats pictured above are boys, but two of them have girly names. We thought that they were girls (hence the names) and I didn't want to change Kaylie's name. Mel's name was Melody, so we just shortened that. As of right now, we only have Kaylie, his two daughters,  (I'll show you a picture of their mom as a kitten later), Patches and Hazel, another cat, Stump, and Stump's daughter, Oreo, who has the most pathetically loud meow ever. I'll try to make a recording later.

Au revoir,
Breck

An Experiment

I've started to write a series of backstories for some MYAG dolls that I want to get, and you can view them on my new blog, Beam Academy. I just posted the first part of Chapter 1 in Avery's story, so you can check it out and leave a comment.

This is mostly what I look like, but my hair is shorter and I couldn't figure out how to do that.
This is Liz, but I slightly messed up on some of the freckles.

Doll of the Week and Cootie Catcher

I put all of my dolls' names in Nicki's hat and picked one out.
This week's doll of the week is Nicki.

About the cootie catcher- I found it at Books a Million on the way back from vacation.

Here's what it looks like when you're done. You pick a subject and then it has moods and then advice from each of the Innerstar U guides.

Check my other blogs because I'll be doing more posts later!
